      Description: Kenneth. M. Harrisson was appointed district surveyor in 1898 and was heavily involved in opening up new country in the Circular Head District of Tasmania. He surveyed 5,000 lots of Crown land with a total of 500,000 acres in the 47 years until his death in January 1945.
