Description: A crystal wireless receiver with head phones attached and still in working order. The original 'Cats Whisker' was replaced about 1944 with a more modern type of detector. The parts of the set are loosely mounted on a wooden frame.The set has picked up signals from the Bluff in New Zealand. This set was made by W.G. Robinson and was in use at 'Brynworth' ( a Blyth property).
