The bags were branded with the company logo which consists of writing in a circle with leaves at the base. Sugar, flour and other food items were purchased in bulk especially in country areas where transport was limited and the supplies were purchased only a few times a year. The women had to make a lot of jam and preserves for their big families. They used the fruit that they grew in their gardens and blackberries from the fields.
