Description: An A4 Archival album containing originals and copies of invoices and receipts from the Eden family for goods tthey ordered, mainly from Launceston businesses. The earliest invoice is 1897, from J S Scarr, Furnishing and General Ironmonger. Other businesses are J H Room, Alfred Harrap & Sons, R C Tole, W Holyman & Sons, T Ridge, J & T Gunn, T J Earley, The Tasmanian Woolgrower's Agency Co Limited, The Tait Stores, A W Birchall & Sons Pty Ltd. A few early Flinders Island businesses are also represented namely W F Day, V T Hammond, Robert Blyth, L H Blyth and Flinders Council. All are handwritten and the amounts are in pounds, shillings and pence. A copy of the catalogue from J S Scarr which is printed on the back of their invoice is also included.
