The lid is a rust-brown coloured plastic screw top lid, with vertical ridges and a horse image on the top. Theer is a white hand written label inscribed "Sal Volatile 1 teaspoon". This item is part of a collection which belonged to Mrs. Alice Elliot, whose husband was Col. Elliot. Alice was a nurse during WWI and during WWII she joined the Tasmanian Volunteer Services.
