Description: OTAGO,a barque built in Glasgow in 1869, was the only command of writer, Joseph Conrad. After her seagoing life she was purchased by Huddart & Parker and towed to Hobart for use as a coal hulk. Eventually she was broken up and left to rot near Mt Direction.
