She was an iron barque of 921 tons gross, built in 1876 by J.L.Thompson & Son of Sunderland for Hine Bros. of Maryport, England. In 1905 in thick weather she drove ashore north of Port Davey, Tasmania. The single survivor, Oscar Larson lived on ship's stores for 3 months before rescue.
