Description: Black and white photograph of the "Terra Nova" Home at Quiggins Road, later Resorvoir Drive in Wynyard Tasmania c1930. It was the Family Home of Robert and Mary Anne Quiggin and their 4 daughters (a son died in infancy). Electricity lit the house in 1892 with power generated from the Hydro system on the property. In partnership with William Moore, Robert Quiggin conducted a Sawmilling and Shipping Business. For more details see Wynyard Historical Society Book, Wealth for Toil page 278.
