Description: An archival A4 album cotaining five black and white and five colour photos of Frank and George Boyes and the Hermitage, the weatherboard cottage built by George Boyes on the land he selected at Palana in 1889. George Boyes was the first person to select land on Flinders Island when it was opened for free hold selection in 1889.
