Description: Brown, round cane basket with split cane binding, and a three cane handle that is bound with about three cm in length of fine split cane. The upper part of the basket is an open weave. The basket originally belonged to Mrs Elizabth Matilda Robinson when she was living on Green Island. She gave the basket to Mrs George West in the late 1800's. It was passed on to Gladys Cook, daughter of Mrs West.
