Description: A white linen supper cloth embroidered with 4 motifs of a parrot, heron, swallows and finch, one in each corner. The cloth is hemmed with drawn thread border. The cloth was made by Mary Maynard, nee Armstrong, who was taught to do embroidery by Mrs Maria Stephens, wife of the headmaster of the Cape Barren Island school, during the period 1890-1897.
