The shop's proprietor, Mr G.M.Woolnough is standing on the right hand side of the picture. Mrs Adye Scott is standing holding a child in the left hand side doorway. Note the horse hitching rail in front of the store. The photograph was taken from the south-eastern direction after recent snowfall in May 1915. This store and residence was destroyed by fire in 1924.
