Description: Wooden handled driver for coopering barrels. One end is fitted with a steel coopering fitting which has a grooved end to fit the barrel hoop, the other with a steel ring to prevent the wooden handle from splitting when it was hammered. One of the original artefacts in the replica mutton-bird processing shed.
