Description: Series two of three pictures taken during the visit of Sir Hugh Binney, Governor of Tasmania (24 Dec 1945- 8 May 1951) and Lady Binney when they visited the Smithton Primary School at Smithton, Tasmania, in 1946. The official party at this event are pictured seated outside at the school while the children are addressed by the Governor.
