Description: Brick pillar with a concrete moulded top, rendered with morter. It features a bronze plaque commemorating 150 years of the oldest building (Pilot's Row). It lists the PLA (Port of Launceston Authority) board members of 1985 and was unveiled by the Governor of Tasmania James Plimsol in 1985. It stands at the entrance to the Low Head Pilot Station.
