      Date: 1954 -

Description: Britton's second sawmill on the southern end of Brittons Swamp, Tasmania.This mill was electric and modern for its time and built next to the logging tramway and meant the end of steam engines and bullock power. This tramline from the mill went to the sawdust ramp and bin. The area covered by shingles on this building is the planer shed. The building in the back is the stables. The timber in the stacks is blackwood.
