Description: A small red and black tin - contains the remains of a white ointment. On tin lid - "MUCILIN, made in England, Thos. Aspinall FCS, Carlton Chemical Works, Bolton" "Sole make and Inventor" Mucilin is recommended by fly fishermen today for applying to the line in place of vaseline. Presumably this Mucilin is the original form.
