Description: The Duck River Co-op Butter Factory Co Ltd was extended in 1965 to receive refrigerated bulk milk gradually phasing out cream in cans and to install a casien plant to manufacture casein. By this time forty farmers were supplying refrigerated bulk milk and many more were expected to change. The company expected that the newly installed plant would be able to manuafacture as much bulk milk as they could get.
