Description: An archival album, A4 size, containing mostly black and white photographs, correspondence, notes and newspaper clippings on aircraft and aviation personalities from the first aircraft flight to Flinders Island in 1931, and onwards. Personalities include Norman Chapman, Jack Turner, Mr & Mrs Jimmy Woods, Sir Charles Kingsford-Smith, Artie Withers. Planes include the Miss Flinders, the Loina, the opening of the Pats River Airport, Whitemark and turning on of new runway lights.
