Description: Two types of barnacles. High tide barnacle, Chthamalus antcrinnatus, greyish white, found attached to rocks on exposed shores. Goose barnacle, Lepas australis, white shell on a dark stalk, often attached to wood and other objects. Barnacles are Crustaceans.
