Description: This building was situated at No. 96 Meander Valley Road in Westbury, Tasmania. The two storey Roman Catholic Presbytery was built in 1859. Westbury's first resident Catholic Priest Fr. James Hogan had previously resided in a cottage at No. 39 William Street prior to the construction of this dwelling. The presbytery was demolished in 1929 and a replacement building was built on the same site. Fr. Thomas Kelsh is visible standing in the foreground in this image. The photograph was taken from the north-western direction.
