Description: Silver half crown still with clear details on both sides as well as decorated edges. The coin is in good condition except for a hole in the center of the coin which was made by a garden fork. Found in 1945 when Clifford Howard then aged 17 was digging up potatoes and his fork pierced the coin. The Howard family thinks that soldiers going through the "Blackline" and was possibly dropped by one of the soldiers.
