Description: Many workers especially women were involved in growing the vegetables and in the dehydration factory in Circular Head, Tasmania. It was said that people crawled 300 miles on their hands and knees thinning out the carrots for the dehydration factory every year. Pictured are two of the workers from the dehydration factory who helped to process the vegetables during that time.
