Description: These shingles are made out of rough sawn timber measuring nine centimetres by four centimetres. Each shingle is nailed onto a timber frame before they were attached to the roof timbers. This section of shingle roof is from the Woodsdale School which had been built in 1884. The original shingle roof is still on the Woodsdale School under the new colour bond roof.
