Frederick Huon Gray of Gray Brothers Timber Mill took out salvage rights when Natal Queen was wrecked on a reef at Quiet Corner, Adventure Bay, Bruny Island. She had been attempting to move to deeper water from Gray Bros. jetty. A bell rope was made for the bell by Mr C Davidson but this is not the correct one according to the lender.
