Bell from the vessel Natal Queen

      Description: Bell from the iron barque 'Natal Queen' wrecked at Adventure Bay 15/6/1909. Engraved Adamson & Co, Grangemouth, Wood & Iron Shipbuilders. Frederick Huon Gray of Gray Brothers Timber Mill took out salvage rights when Natal Queen was wrecked on a reef at Quiet Corner, Adventure Bay, Bruny Island. She had been attempting to move to deeper water from Gray Bros. jetty. A bell rope was made for the bell by Mr C Davidson but this is not the correct one according to the lender.
